About Me

I am a researcher with the following focus areas:

  • Computational models of human visual perception,
  • Perceptually inspired image/video quality and visibility metrics,
  • Gaze-contingency paradigm and foveated rendering,
  • High dynamic range imaging,
  • Generative deep learning for graphics.

In the past, I conducted postgraduate research at Max Planck Institute for Informatics (MPII), Germany, under Prof. Karol Myszkowski, and at Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), Switzerland, under Prof. Piotr Didyk. I have held an assistant professor position at the University of Groningen since February 2022.
